Alyson Kenward manages the Climate Science research program at Climate Central, an independent organization that researches and reports on the science and impacts of climate change. Kenward studies climate-related data, finding unique ways to show how climate change is already having an impact on the American public and what future climate change may bring. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Calgary and a Masters in Science Journalism from New York University.

Her reporting has been recognized with awards from the Society of Environmental Journalists, the Online News Association, and Planned Parenthood. She is also the vice president of membership for the Society of Environmental Journalists.
