It’s easy to see why some of the biggest stars in the world – from Will Smith to Madonna to George Clooney - readily open up to Alicia Quarles. She has the keen ability to extract the real story and break news, all while putting celebs at ease. Her work stands out because it delivers much more than your average entertainment fluff. Quarles is the New York based correspondent for E! News. Her interests and work are wide-ranging and not just focused on entertainment. She's also managed to incorporate two of her passions into her work: fashion and fitness. This fashionista is a regular on best-dressed lists and hosts a number of E! fashion related network specials such as, “Secrets of Fashion Week” and “Closet Envy.” Quarles is a daredevil who is down to do outside of the box segments in the name of health. From doing yoga while hanging upside down in ropes, taking on some of the NY Knicks in a game of horse, to battling “Top Chefs” in healthy cook-offs. . . she is ready and willing. She also writes pieces for E! Online and has a popular column, “Ask Alicia,” where Quarles answers viewers questions. Quarles has garnered respect, admiration and genuine affection from her peers, top publicists, managers and other key players in the industry. She has won her reputation with her sterling work, her gregarious nature and her determination to be the best, and to put out the best work. She's not all work, though. Quarles mentors a number of high school and college students who are studying journalism. She also loves spending time with her husband Mike, as well as their mischievous dog Beckham and cat, Boss.
