How do you make employees who fearlessly make? Makers are those who are comfortable concepting, shaping and sharing ideas within the modern digital-centric workplace – they are the most valuable and difficult to find, hire and retain. This two-part workshop focuses on guiding leaders, change agents, brand and agency executives, learning & development experts, and digital evangelists through the steps of creating a maker-friendly digitally savvy workplace. The first part will focus on helping participants become active makers and the second part will provide a step-by-step guide for participants to go back to their workplace and make makers. We’re not just talking about the skills you’d expect like UX, social media and programming – we will explore courage, vision, imagination, and curiosity as core maker skills. Join us to review methods for jumpstarting the skill evolution of your employees through education, experimentation, prototyping, and tinkering!
