Synopsis
Two closeted Muslim teens have their Friday afternoon ruined by FBI surveillance when their small-time scheming sets an agent on their trail. Set over the course of a single day in Bed-Stuy, Naz & Maalik examines the mysterious forces that animate teenage minds, ten years into the War on Terror.

Director Bio
Jay Dockendorf (director) is a New York-based filmmaker and composer. Naz & Maalik is his first narrative feature. His short documentary Vigilante Copy Editor (2013) was a featured Op-Doc of The New York Times. He co-composed the music for Naz & Maalik with Adam Gunther.
