For filmmakers, there is a dizzying array of digital tools available, not only for camera and editorial systems, but for writers, directors, and for production organization and logistics. We’ll do a brief survey of some of the great tools that are out there at our disposal. And then we’ll contemplate the human element – the thing that risks getting lost in our whiz-bang / warp-speed way of working. How do you find, nurture, and support all the weird and wonderful people who really are the beating heart behind creative projects? And make sure they don’t get lost in the digital swirl?
