As a filmmaker Sara Giustini has an affinity for both fact and fiction so she divides her time between documentary and narrative production.

Most recently, Sara produced the award winning documentary Before You Know It (SXSW 2013), which follows three gay seniors as they navigate the challenges, adventures and surprises of their golden years. Sara is currently works for American Experience as the project manager for Rory Kennedy's Last Days in Vietnam (Sundance 2014). She served as the project coordinator for the outreach and engagement campaign for the Emmy award winning documentary Freedom Riders. Sara was the series associate producer for PBS' God in America.

Sara’s work in the art department on feature films includes Matthew Wiener's forthcoming Are You Here, There Will Be Blood and NBC's Friday Night Lights. When she is not working, Sara enjoys making mix tapes, current events, maps (mainly geo-political), heated discussion and travel adventures.
