Saturday, March 14
12:30PM - 1:30PM

Austin Convention Center
Room 16AB

Roger Ebert, a huge fan of technology and social media, with his wife, Chaz, flung open the door to diverse critics and films on their movie review site Rogerebert.com. The chief critic for the Chicago Sun-Times for 46 years, Roger Ebert was one of the early adopters of digital and social media to expand audience reach and the critics’ circle to include diverse voices from around the globe. How have diverse filmmakers and critics changed the way we see movies? What’s the future of film criticism in a digital age?
