Arts for Change: Using Entertainment for Social Justice

Tuesday, March 17
12:45PM - 1:45PM

Trinity Hall
311 E 5th

Music can be a powerful agent for moving people. From containing Ebola outbreaks in West Africa to calling attention to police violence in Ferguson, Missouri, both entertainment and entertainers can play crucial roles in controlling narratives and mobilizing communities. Join Accountability Lab as this interactive session explores how you can turn artists into ambassadors, make socially conscious music without sacrificing creativity or brand, and use entertainment education to reach markets around the world.
