The Silvertones were founded in 1993 by Brian Wicker and Kyle Copeland. Like all bands, The Silvertones have had several line-up changes through the years. The band now consists of Brian Wicker (bass), Randy Ball (drums), Leo De La Vega (guitar) and Rob Donavan (guitar).

The Silvertones’ music, mostly of which is original, reflects the various influences
that the band members grew up with. It's primarily blues, with hints of jazz, swing,
rockabilly and rock-n-roll.

The Silvertones have recorded five albums:
* Cruisin’, which was self-produced in 1999
* Hot in The Hole, which was recorded live in July, 2002, at The Hole in the Wall
in Dallas, Texas
* Ride in My Cadillac, which was produced by Ryan Rader in Austin, Texas and
released by Deep South Productions in 2005
* You Got Me Spinnin’, their second album on the Deep South Productions label
was released in October of 2011

The Silvertones released Silvertone Avenue in May 2014. An album of all original songs. It is the first album which they have recorded any acoustic songs for.
