TOURISTA, is peruvian dance rock band formed by Rui Pereira (vocals and guitar), Sandro Labenita (drums), Genko (synths, bass, melodic and background vocals) in 2012. Their music makes you travel through indie, pop, electronic and afroperuvian sounds and is been considered as one of the most interesting musical projects on their region. Their music has crossed all barriers through synchronisation licensing, being the soundtrack of commercials of major brands like Burger King and Movistar and series like "Algo más" and the well know MTV serie "Niñas Mal".

¨Déficit de atención", their first EP, has been positively acclaimed by the audience, media and mainly radios. As well as, for the internationally known bands they have shared with or open shows for, like: ¨Boom Boom Kid¨ (Argentina) in 2012. ¨The Killers¨ and ¨Japandroids¨ in 2013 and ¨Capital Cities¨ in 2014. Relevant local digital media platforms have also strongly supported the band like Terra Live Music (Perú) and Sonorama, one of the most important online radios of Perú. The band is on the making of their first full length album with a sound that is unique but still familiar and is coming to stay.
