Formed in 2012, Hank West and the Smokin Hots is a jazz/exotica band with rock and New Orleans 2nd Line tendencies. The personnel includes current and past members of The Firecracker Jazz Band, Empire Strikes Brass Marching Band, Slim Jenkins, The Space Heaters, and The Squirrel Nut Zippers.
