Nico Perez is co-founder of Mixcloud - an award winning Internet radio company based in London, UK.

In late 2008, he decided to start Mixcloud to help people find great radio shows online. As an experienced DJ and radio presenter, he saw the need to re-think traditional radio and Podcasting, and develop a new solution for the "socially networked" generation.

Today Mixcloud is growing fast and reaches over 10 million people each month, powering listen again services for AfroJack, Carl Cox, Above & Beyond and many more.

Nico contributed to the Hargreaves report consultation commissioned by the UK government, and is active in pushing for modernisation of the UK and EU copyright frameworks. He has also been selected as a "Young Advisor" to Neelie Kroes - the EU Commission Vice President on the Digital Agenda for Europe.
