Every year musicians from around the world come to the U.S. and the U.K. to tour, record, and pursue their musical dreams. However, as even some of the biggest international artists know, the legal realities of working abroad are sometimes not so clear and mishaps can be costly. This workshop will review the U.S. and U.K. immigration processes for musicians, employers of musicians, and music industry professionals. We will discuss the procedures, timelines, and expenses associated with procuring a visa, with an emphasis on red flags and strategies for strengthening a case...so you can keep your mind on the music, not the bureaucracy.
