#Winning: Creating Cubic Wins Across Communities

Sunday, March 15
5:00PM - 6:00PM

Austin City Hall
Council Chambers
301 W 2nd St

At the foundation of a sustainable ecosystem lies the underlying principle that the different elements in that space need and want to support each others success. Building a strong social impact eco-system takes time and most investors won’t open the floodgates to capital until they know that the ecosystem is healthy enough to support different companies cycling through it. When investment happens it creates ripples of impact in the community. We must find responsible ways to incorporate the community's value and get their buy in for long-term success. This means that schools, local government, non-profits have to also have an opportunity to share in the windfall. Where do we start? We are exploring the concept of the “cubic win”, where startup, investor, and community partners win. This panel will discuss exactly how to go about creating these wins.
