Join Steve Case, CEO of Revolution and chairman of UP Global for an engaging discussion on the re-emergence of entrepreneurship as an American imperative, including an update on the “Rise of the Rest” – taking a close at the development of new hubs of startup activity throughout the United States. Drawing on his personal journey as an entrepreneur, his experience investing in companies in off the beaten path locations, and as a champion for entrepreneurs throughout the country, Steve will share insights on how places like Detroit, Nashville, Minneapolis, Raleigh, Las Vegas, Cincinnati and St. Louis are emerging as key entrepreneurial ecosystems driving innovation in critical sectors of the US economy - from education to energy, healthcare to commerce. He’ll also take a look at some crucial and challenging questions – including whether entrepreneurship is a path to economic mobility, and just what role startups really do play in job creation.
