Learn to tell your whole product’s story by building a simple map collaboratively with others. You'll learn how to use story maps to make sense of how users and customers do things today, and how they might do things better with your product. You'll learn how to use story maps to drive Lean Startup style experimentation, as well as heads-down Agile software development.
Workshop flow:
- After a brief introduction, you'll spend the first hour learning the basics in a hands-on story mapping exercise collaborating with others in the class
- We'll sum up what we've learned, then take a 15 minute coffee break. You'll need it.
- During the second hour, you'll work hands-on with a story map for a mobile product. You'll use that map to identify minimum viable product releases, experiments, and safe development strategies
- In the last 15 minutes we'll discuss how story mapping fits into a holistic product design and development process
