Starting Up the Enterprise
Large organizations by their nature require a more structured, process-centric approach in order to run smoothly, and unfortunately, this approach often creates an atmosphere that can impede innovation and create a risk-averse culture that breeds complacency. This doesn't have to be the case, however, and many Enterprise-level companies are attempting to overcome these obstacles by employing lessons gleaned from the startup community (take heart, all, it can be done!). This talk will focus on some of the challenges of innovating within the Enterprise, strategies that companies are using to tackle these challenges, and discuss some real world examples of companies who have fought the good fight and won.
