Vehicles continue to grow smarter and more connected. From cars that interact with our homes and cities to driverless cars that chauffeur us wherever we want to go, the next ten years will see a fundamental shift in the way we engage with our cars and the role they play in our lives.
Magazines and concept videos are beginning to show what this connected future might look like. But as drivers, passengers, and pedestrians, what does the connected car mean for the way we live? What role will the connected car have in the way that we do our work and care for our families? How will it change the great American road trip?
Join frog as we take a user-centered design approach to explore the future of the connected car. In a two-and-a-half-hour workshop, we will discuss the changing relationship we have with cars now, explore the technological changes we might see in the near future, and sketch out a range of concepts and future experiences that the connected car will enable.
Takeaways - This workshop will provide attendees with:
* An overview of the latest in automotive trends and technology
* A range of new connected car concepts focusing on how they will fit into our daily lives
* Experience using the user-centered design approach
* Fun! Through a unique, hands-on and highly creative workshop
Agenda: After spending time up front covering the latest trends in connected car technology (15 minutes) we’ll break into groups to explore and inspire new concepts with user-centered methods and scenario based ideation (60 minutes). After a short break, we’ll spend 45 minutes to bring these concepts to life with various tools including our new Story Board Photo Booth. The last 30 minutes is for team presentations. This will be a fast-paced, hands-on workshop that will give attendees the opportunity to be creative and collaborative.
