Monday, March 16
5:00PM - 6:00PM

Current statistics (from 1997 to 2014, the number of firms owned by women of color skyrocketed 216%) demonstrate the number of Hispanic women (Latinas) business-owners tripling (Latinalist.com, 2014). These numbers signify Latinas should have equitable access to incubators, accelerators, innovation and funding opportunities mirroring the need.

The disparity in necessity of support systems and reality should be the overt catalyst demanding change. In an auto-ethnographic account of CEO of Lulu Sync, the Latina entrepreneur divulges the secrets of success to encourage other women to break the bad boundaries revealing what it takes to ignite a series of change in the landscape of business and innovation.

Through an in-depth analysis of personal tribulations that accounted for learning opportunities in her own journey, Lulu provides precise action-orientated solutions to creating change for a traditionally underrepresented market sector that is on the brink of expansion.
