Build a car from raw materials to one that goes 140 mph and gets 100 mpg. With 60-minute sprints, and no Agile or manufacturing experience required, participants will learn how to apply Agile techniques in the physical realm. No experience is necessary.

We will kick off the eXtreme Agile Build Party by having the attendees self-organize into small Scrum teams.Teams will then swarm on the backlog to complete as many stories as possible, with quality built in. Each sprint the teams get a chance to review their work with the facilitators while using scaled Scrum to address impediments, demonstrate their work, and refine the backlog.

At the end of the day, participants will have built a working car, learned how to innovate, overcome impediments, how to apply Agile to any endeavor and expanded their perception of what they are capable of.

There will be seven one hour sprints with short breaks in between to build the car from start to finish. People are encouraged to come to as many as they can, but even a single sprint will teach you just how powerful self-organizing teams can be.
