Lynn has had a long career working with identity. She was one of the first to make films on artists to promote their records: The Doors, Delaney and Bonnie, The Incredible String Band were groups she made shorts on before become a director for the first rock and roll show on network television, ABC In Concert. She then became the co-manager of Grand Funk Railroad and left that to more fully focus on her photography which she has been doing for over 40 years. Lynn's published 12 books- her latest Rock and Roll Stories, gives her history and how she chronicled Bruce Springsteen’s passage to glory, the Rolling Stones’ legendary stadium tours, Michael Jackson’s staggering ascent, and the brooding force of Bob Marley. Culture heroes like Bob Dylan and Patti Smith became frequent subjects for her lens, as she joined the community of artists whose songs shaped our era. With over 100 album covers to her credit, she has been honored by The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well as won numerous worldwide awards for her portraiture. From the 1970’s thru the 1990’s, when her focus was editorial, her images graced the covers of most of the world’s prestigious magazines including Rollingstone, Life, Time and Newsweek. Lynn has also been known as a musician under the aka of Will Powers. She's written songs with Sting, Todd Rundgren, Nile Rodgers and Steve Winwood. As an artist on Island Records her songs are on The Best Of Island compilations.
