Clarisse is 36 and has worked in advertising for 11 years. Originally a copywriter, she soon developed a preference to be involved in the precious process of defining a strategy for the direction of the campaigns (it’s the dictator in her).
She spent the first three years in various Parisian agencies to learn the trade (Hemisphère Droit/Reflex), and then almost 4 years at Saatchi & Saatchi Paris with some time spent in LA and London, in charge of Toyota Europe.
Clarisse definitely has a soft spot for cars and has worked for Mercedes, Smart, Toyota, and Lexus. For the last five years she’s been in charge of the international Peugeot account at BETC.
Clarisse also handles planning for clients such as Canal +, McDonald's and Ubisoft, among many others.
She is convinced that having the best product is not enough (especially when you don’t have it), but that what’s really important is a good story in order to create the best possible relationship between brands and people.
In 2012 she founded the BETC Start Up Lab with Stéphane Xiberras (President and CCO BETC Paris). The lab works as a commando unit within the agency, exclusively dedicated to start-ups. The aim of the lab is to see new companies grow faster, stronger and sooner. By applying the agency’s knowledge of brand storytelling to their product or service, the lab helps them transform into brands and build a value platform.
When she is not busy doing any of the above, Clarisse plans a revolution, manages rock groups, travels and snowboards.
