With a flow as unique as the message he brings, Mosope “Spoken” Adeyemi seeks to bring “the uncompromising truth of God in the language of the culture.” Although born and bred in a Christian home, Mosope never made the faith his own. Very rambunctious and adventurous, it’s a miracle he escaped major harm. In October 31, 2003 God snatched Spoken from a life of decadence, after having a personal encounter he describes as nothing short of supernatural.

Unlike many destined to make music, Spoken cannot say he always knew he would end up in the industry, nor can he claim he always wanted to make music. Unbeknown to him, this talent for putting words together and presenting them with perfect delivery would lie dormant for the first 14 years of his life. "At some point around age 14 I just started scribbling little rhymes here and there. Not sure why really. Then quite randomly at age 16, I decided to perform one of my poems at my youth church, and the response was phenomenal…,” he recounts." Quietly mastering his craft behind-the-scenes for another 4 years, Spoken finally emerged onto the music scene at the age of 20. Now at age 23, merely 3 years later, his resume boasts the credentials of seasoned veteran performers.

His debut 2010 mixtape, "Up by 13 Vol.1" featured production from the acclaimed, Kwajo Cinqo (G7/Interscope), landing him on many prominent stages. With the release of subsequent projects in 2011 he embarked on a 6 city tour of eastern Canada, and has since shared the stage with multiple world-renowned artists including; Da’ T.R.U.T.H, Sho Baraka, Flame, Israel and New Breed, Tory Lanez, Reema Major, and the Hip Hop phenomenon, Lecrae. Spoken's performance credits also includes various festivals including; Bluesfest (Ottawa), Da' South Hip Hop Showcase during the SXSW week (Austin), Reema Major Summer Bling at Canada's Wonderland (Toronto), to name a few.

He closed off 2012 with a US & Canada tour with label mates, promoting the collaborative project entitled, "Glass House". In 2013, Spoken is set to release his sophomore album, "SMOKE: Don't Blow It" and is gearing up to once again hit the road, taking his dynamic live show to stages across the US, Canada, and possibly overseas.

Spoken's stunning growth over such a short time period is a clear indication that he was fashioned for this industry. He has the lyrical prowess to write and compose songs that stir the human soul, and a stage show to match.

Despite his extraordinary talent, what truly separates Spoken are his desires and goals for his music. Quoting one of his influences, Lecrae, "I'm not here to impress, I'm here to impact". Spoken wants to impact the world with the truth that has transformed his own life. With the pace he's going, it seems likely he will do just that.
