Big Choo

Born in the heart of music, New Orleans, Louisiana, Donald “Big Choo” Morris Jr. is a house hold name in the Bounce Music Industry for his artistic contributions. Producer, dancer, hype-man and voice personality are just a few of his titles.

Chief Executive Officer of GameOva Entertainment, Big Choo has worked in the bounce industry for many years, providing albums such as “Ya Boy Big Choo – Bounce Back with that Beat,” “Blazer the Beat Contract,” “The Best Kept Secret” and “The GameOva TakeOva.” His single of John Legend’s “So High” remix still proves to be one of Big Choo’s biggest hits today.

Inspired by bounce artist 5th Ward Weebie, Big Choo continues to actively work everyday in the bounce genre. His work, particularly with the kids of New Orleans's communities led him to his production of a remix of “Reading Rainbow” for the opening of a New Orleans Public Library in 2011. In 2012 he produced a remix to the theme song of the animated children's television series "Arthur", the song entitled, "Wonderful Kind of Day". The year of 2013 brought on a children's inspirational bounce song, "I know, I can". This same year, he was also voted to perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. His latest work in 2014 includes his new hit song, "Is It The Shoes?". This invigorating piece is about fun, dancing, and an all around epic experience while wearing the trendiest shoes.

For the past year and a half Big Choo have produced "Follow that Beat Fridays" once Sometimes twice a month in Houston, Texas for the massive amount of New Orleans natives living in Houston due to Hurricane Katrina.
