TRUMPETER SWAN reemerges with an expanded lineup and new sophomore release The Magnitude of Now. Founded by Drew Patrizi, who gained recognition as a founding member of What Made Milwaukee Famous (Barsuk Records), New York’s TRUMPETER SWAN self-released debut Listen for the Clues in 2010 garnering attention from Pitchfork and Alternative Press. The music has been praised as "genre-bending, finger-snapping alt-pop (RCRDLBL.com) and “songs with infectious melodies and thoughtful, hopeful sentiments” (Diffuser.fm). The Magnitude of Now explores the point at which exuberance and uncertainty intersect. Triumphant choruses wrangle melancholy verses. Mood-swings bubble up…then evaporate. The "rich addictive jingles and hidden hooks" (DOA) that characterized the debut again radiate on The Magnitude of Now, this time through a darker, more focused prism.
