fled the advertising world to work in the music industry. while at Badman, I helped release albums by Hayden, James William Hindle, Mark Kozelek, My Morning Jacket and Washington Social Club. it was a small operation, so I made coffee and refilled the water cooler, but I focused on retail, radio and consumer marketing programs, as well as tour marketing. it was also early days in the digital music retail space, so I established and maintained relationships with major download services like iTunes, Rhapsody, SonyConnect and Napster, as well as aggregators like IODA.

I worked with a great team of people to help artists on 4AD, Matador Records, Rough Trade and XL Recordings do the things they want to do.
