Moderated by game industry personality Geoff Keighley, the conversation will go in depth on Jade's background, her transition from programmer, to producer, to studio head. They will discuss how games are inspiring new narratives in books, comics, movies and more, and where games are headed over the next 10 years.
Jade Raymond is Managing Director at Ubisoft Toronto, where she is building a studio dedicated to creating innovative games. She opened the studio for Ubisoft in 2010 and is on track to grow the team to 800 employees by 2020. As Managing Director, Jade is responsible for studio strategy, executive management, and production oversight. Jade also serves as Executive Producer for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell franchise including book and film development and is responsible for new IP creation at Ubisoft Toronto. Jade is best known as co-creator and Executive Producer of Assassin’s Creed, Ubisoft’s bestselling franchise. With over 55 million copies sold to date, Assassin’s Creed is one of the bestselling game franchises of all time, generating over $3.5 billion in revenue. Jade is on the Board of Directors of WIFT-T, an organization dedicated to the advancement of women across screen-based industries.
