They are starting companies based around the desires and needs of women and couples; they are uncovering new investment partnerships and opportunities; and they are building world class teams to support their dreams. Join DreamIt Ventures and a panel of successful women entrepreneurs and investors for a discussion and audience Q&A about the opportunities and challenges women in tech face. Danielle Weinblatt is currently the CEO and Co-founder of Take the Interview, Inc. ("TTI")
TTI is a provider of SaaS solutions for HR and Talent Acquisition professionals. The Company provides software that facilitates communication and feedback to constituents involved in the interview process (i.e., candidates, hiring managers and recruiters) and provides a suite of services including video screening technology and tools to enable organizations to hire the best quality candidates for their open positions. Since inception, TTI has helped organizations, such as NBCUniversal, Avery Dennison, Discovery Communications, Farmers Insurance, CB Richard Ellis, LivePerson, lululemon, Boston University and Lehigh Hanson streamline and improve their screening and interviewing process.
Prior to TTI, Danielle was an Arthur Rock Fellow of Entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School. Danielle is also a member of Springboard Enterprises, a network of female founders and CEOs who lead high-growth companies.
Danielle was formerly an investor at a growth capital private equity firm. Danielle holds a B.S., summa cum laude, in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, with a concentration in Business. She graduated Beta Gamma Sigma with Distinction.

Karen Griffith Gryga is an experienced venture capitalist, investor and entrepreneur with over 20 years of startup and emerging growth company experience. Karen is a Managing Partner for DreamIt Ventures. DreamIt is a leading technology accelerator for entrepreneurs which has worked with and launched 127 companies since 2008 including SCVNGR (Level Up), SeatGeek, Notehall (acquired by Chegg), Adaptly, Yevvo, SnipSnap, Parsely, Trendkite, Betterific, ShowMe, Take the Interview, Winston, CloudMine, and MindSnacks. Karen is the lead on DreamIt Fund II, managing all aspects of fundraising, investments and LP communication and also does business development for DreamIt.
Karen was Co-Founder and Chairman of FashInvest, an initiative focused on emerging growth entrepreneurs within Branded Goods, Fashion, Fashion Tech and Retail as well as Lipstick Wisdom, a community for mothers of children with neurological challenges.
Karen was a Founder and Partner of Liberty Venture Partners, a Philadelphia based venture fund established in 1997 with $150 million under management as well as Executive Director of MAG, The Mid-Atlantic Angel Group, which has two angel funds under management.
Karen holds a MBA in decision analysis from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (with Distinction). At the same time as Wharton, Karen obtained a Masters in Computer Science from the Moore School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Karen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in computer science (Phi Beta Kappa) from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Terry Chase Hazell

Terry Chase Hazell has more than 20 years of experience leading university programs, launching companies and advising funding agencies.
Hazell is Director of the $480 million Texas Emerging Technology Fund. Previously, she served as Advisory Committee Chair and led the investment review and recommendation of over $50 million.
Hazell launched or grew several University programs, including the University of Maryland’s Biotechnology Program, professor venture fair, entrepreneur office hours and Texas State University’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Program. She is co-founder and Chair of AVINDE a nonprofit women’s business accelerator. Though these programs she has launched or helped founders launch over 40 start-up companies—many of them led by women. She serves on the national advisory committee for leading venture accelerator, Springboard Enterprises.
Hazell was a biotechnology entrepreneur spinning out university technologies into successful companies. She founded the award-winning startup Chesapeake PERL, which was named one of Fortune Magazine’s Coolest Companies. Hazell began her career in contract biologics manufacturing, where she managed large teams, product development and CGMP manufacturing through Phase III clinical trials.
She holds a Master’s in finance and accounting, a Master’s in biotechnology management and a Bachelor’s degree in life science.
