ATI/Silicon Hills Austin Startup Pitch Competition
Austin Technology Incubator, Silicon Hills News and the Central Texas Angel Network are teaming up for a pitch competition among Austin startups, looking for companies that not only know how to woo investors but also interest media in their companies’ stories.
Ten companies will be chosen for a final elimination round, leaving five to compete for the prizes:
Three month membership in ATI's Landing Pad Portfolio.
A series of profiles in Silicon Hills News, Austin’s digital tech newspaper with 20,000 monthly visitors.
Three coaching sessions from Monique Maley of Articulate Persuasion who has coached some of the area’s top startups.
A free spot in CTAN's next investor pitch day.
Companies will be judged not only by investors’ criteria of ideas, team and ability to execute, but also for whether they can communicate the hook—the human story that sets their startup apart from others scrambling to be covered by the media.
