Stefan is the co-organizer of the Co-founders Austin Meetup, which grew within 4 years to 1,900 members - one of the largest in the US. The Co-founders Meetup is a non-profit monthly pitch and networking event driving each month 100+ co-founders to come together. Out of the experience with the Co-founders Meetup, we built the TechMap, a free targeted member platform, available to meetups globally.
Mr. Borge was born in April 1977, he is the CEO of Texas Capital Real Estate, LLC. texascre.com Real Estate Investing firm. This is where he does all his real estate investing. He work with local investor to find deals as well as partners up to obtain a good Return of Investment for their money. He has Launch several businesses example. He started a business with his wife for promotional products name it DrujoPromo.com Developing Relationships Under Justifiable Operating Promotions. He owns his own Dealership call AutoMech Space where he flips cars just like he does with his real estate investing.
BusinessBuildingAcademy.com is a company that his Role is as the CEO and now he is a co-founder for TheTechMap.com. He works with several entrepreneurs as he is one himself. His newest company is PitchDeals.com where Priceline.com meets a Bargain Daily Deals site..
Prior to his current role, Mr. Borge served as an Enterprise Consultant at the Executive Marketing level within the Dell Americas and Product Group organizations. He worked in a BPI project that helped Dell save $500,000 dollars in a single group project and later became a mentor to help others do BPI projects. He successfully save Dell, Inc $53 Million in 1 quarter alone. He also served as Enterprise consultant within Dell Enterprise and held major accounts in Latin America and Brazil.
He loves to travel and have been in many places for his ventures from U.S to South America and Europe.
Stefan is a Technologist and Community Activist promoting free enterprise in the tech tribe.
His education is an MBA from Germany's Ludwig-Maximilians-University combined with an executive degree in technology from UC Berkeley. Stefan is a published author.
What drives him is creating new ideas and exploring the limits. He is focusing on finding gaps and developing solutions, specifically were other previously failed. Stefan is driven by adrenalin and a good mental challenge.
Stefan's professional life started in investment banking which encouraged him to earn a business degree. He came to the Bay Area as an entrepreneur at the end of the dot-com bubble and reinvented himself as a business leader and technology consultant, focusing on network security, campus designs and datacenter network infrastructure. Since then, he touched and experienced many areas around hightech business: Operations Management, Technology and Management Consulting, Product Management, Strategy, Technical Marketing, and Sales.
In his latest adventure Stefan co-founded TechMap, a community project and social experiment in promoting entrepreneurship through building a strong ecosystem within the tech tribe. TechMap has become an established institution in the ATX Silicon Hills which has helped countless startups get off the ground.
