George is Lebanese blood-wise, but his parents hail from Jordan. He was born in Detroit but grew up in Chicago with a year in Kentucky somewhere in between. He spent some good years in Peoria before he moved to Brooklyn some 18 odd years ago. Seven years back he moved to Paris where he now lives with his wife and child.
George is the founder of AREA 17, an interactive agency based in New York City and Paris, France. In 2008, he started an incubator within the company, launching web and mobile products such as Subfolio, Slash-Paris.com and Krrb.com.

of Spinn3r and co-founder of the
Open Access Coalition. In a
past life, he co-invented the RSS format which is widely used across the
Internet for content syndication and helped worked on Open Source Java at
Apache back when it was called Jakarta.
Paul Cloutier is a designer and entrepreneur based in Oakland CA. He is focused on experience design with an emphasis on user powered experiences. Previously he worked with Current TV to design and launch their groundbreaking user generated TV network. Later he was a co-founder of 8020 Publishing, a media company that produced the reader-created magazines JPG and Everywhere.
