In Defense of Inventors: Yes, We Make Shit

#sxsw #inventors

So you want to be an inventor? You have the talent, means and desire to make things. Maybe you have even invested in the right paintbrushes, digital programs, circuit boards and power tools? But wait...agencies are in the business of marketing, not inventing.
Enter the skeptics, lambasting agencies for throwing around "invention" and "IP" as buzzwords that do more to seem inventive than to be inventive. Sure, they've seen the liquor brands and the games, but they still question - can agencies really pivot away from billable hours and client revenue streams to make invention real?
The time has come for agencies to defend their titles as inventors.
Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners (kbs+) will take the stage in defense of agencies everywhere, charging the debate, and stepping up to prove once and for all that agencies can go from concept to market and finally make more than conversation.
Join the debate and the movement to make shit really happen.
