How to Design a Badass TEDx Event
This session is hosted by TEDx organizers from two of the largest and most successful TEDx events in the world: TEDxKC and TEDxAustin. Learn how to license and design a badass TEDx (or similar) event for your community or business from veteran organizers.
TED is one of the most powerful switched-on brands in the world — in 2006 TED became an open platform dedicated to "ideas worth spreading" when the first TED Talk was posted online. In 2009 TED added the TEDx program allowing individual TEDsters to create and host their own local TED-licensed events. Since then over 3,000 events have been hosted the world over from Tulsa to Taipei and Kibera to Kansas City. We've learned a lot (the hard way) over these past five years ... and are eager to make it easier for you.
