Message Board Besties Meet Up
Women have been finding a sense of community through message boards and online groups before the rise of the blog. In communities like TheKnot.com, TheNest.com and TheBump.com, their conversations transition from STDs (Save-the-Dates) and venting about their MILs (Mother-in-Laws) to happy hour GTGs (Get Togethers) that happen away from the branded message boards.
This Meet Up is for people who've formed real friendships online. Let's share our stories of friendship, sense of community, gossip, drama and the secret underworld of message boards. Who knows, you may even meet someone IRL that you only knew by screenname.
