There is an ever-increasing number of devices available to us, and an equally large number of ways to interact with them. We want to examine the role of gestures in interaction: how we've moved forward from mice and keyboards to touchscreen mobile devices, and where we might go in the future.

Allison comes to SXSW with over 12 years of front-end web development and consulting experience. Regardless of the platform before her, she relishes the challenge of molding business requirements, information design and technical considerations into an elegant solution which serves the needs of the client and their users while also looking good and performing well.
As a consultant, she has worked with clients such as IDG/Infoworld, AAA of California, Fox Home Entertainment, Activision, The Washington Times, Analog Devices, Harvard University, John Hancock Investments and Boston Capital. She also co-authored the Cantina WCM Guideand co-presented the webinars “Learn How Web Content Management Drives Business Success” and "Why Content Strategy, Why Now?"
