Can we beat Dreamworks and Pixar from Argentina?

#sxsw #Messi&HQ3D

Is it possible to compete with Pixar and Dreamworks from Argentina?
I will describe the five years process and challenges we faced to produce the biggest film in South America. How did we succeed in developing a project never done before. From the idea in a bar to producing and releasing “Metegol” ("Foosball") theatrically in over 70 countries, and also our dream of creating an industry in Argentina to produce high quality content to the world.
I will also speak about the freedom we have to create outside Hollywood and how we built a 500 people team from 16 nationalities in Buenos Aires.

- Financing the project (green light)
- Importing hardware vs. Exporting Magic
- Creating a top studio from scratch
- Anxiety management in long length projects
