Paul Williams started Crawdaddy: The Magazine of Rock in January 1966 in his dorm room, a year and a half before Rolling Stone began. Crawdaddy and Paul Williams, who passed away March 2013, were the true Almost Famous story. Can we still find relevance, reference and influence today related to the form of rock journalism Paul Williams founded with Crawdaddy Magazine so many years ago?

Cindy Lee Berryhill is a California musician-songwriter married to the late rock journalist Paul Williams. She has released six albums since 1988 on way cool indie labels like Rhino, Rough Trade, Cargo and Demon. Berryhill was one of the original purveyor's and founders of New York Antifolk
