Brian A. Bloom is a partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP where he concentrates his practice on all facets of intellectual property and licensing matters. The scope of his practice is diversified, and includes counseling emerging brands and Fortune 500 companies, telecommunication companies, pharmaceutical companies, major record companies' merchandising affiliates, recording artists, photographers, artists, and authors with respect to a diverse range of intellectual property matters. Brian also represents large and small merchandising companies with respect to entertainment related litigation and complex corporate transactions involving intellectual property issues. His practice includes the representation of a variety of clients in civil litigation involving claims to copyright and trademark infringement, counterfeiting, trade dress, false advertising, unfair competition, right of publicity, privacy and defamation. Brian has pursued cybersquatters in federal court, ICANN arbitration proceedings, and in complex WIPO actions. In addition, Brian counsels clients in regard to risk assessment issues of trademark and copyright use and licensing, on-line business operation, branding, marketing partnerships and sponsorship agreements. He earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, magna cum laude and his B.S. from Cornell University, with distinction.

Mark Spier is the third generation President of Memory Lane Music Group. Mark brings with him a unique mix of skills and expertise, having worked in music publishing, technology, and finance.

Since taking leadership of the business in 2003, Memory Lane’s catalog has more than doubled with additions of new music, including pop standards and contemporary hits. In his time at the company, Mark has overseen MLMG’s songs covered and sampled by a staggering number of the industry’s elite. And under his watch, Memory Lane has been added to the NMPA’s “Top 100” music publishers list.

In addition to serving as President of MLMG, and its subsidiaries, Scion Music, and Larry Spier Music, Mark is also president of Royalty Solution’s Corp, which he founded in 2009, to provide comprehensive and accurate royalty processing and accounting to record labels and music publishers.

Mark graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science, and received an MBA from Columbia University. He went on to work for IBM and then become a VP at Credit Suisse before beginning his tenure at Memory Lane. Mark lives on Long Island with his wife Lori. They spend most of their spare time shuttling their two boys, Matthew and Ben, between various sports practices.

Tyler Middleton’s legal practice focuses primarily on the representation of recording and performing artists and creative companies in all areas of the entertainment industry, including musicians, songwriters, record companies, music publishers, producers, managers, filmmakers, production companies, television personalities, technology companies, visual artists, authors, and fashion designers.

In 2010, Tyler formed Graffam Middleton with Ted Graffam in Nashville, Tennessee, and Graffam Middleton opened a second office in New York in 2013. Before forming Graffam Middleton, Tyler worked with the Nashville firm of Gladstone Baker & Kelley (later Baker & Kelley) from 2006 to 2010, and previously had started her own practice in Atlanta, Georgia after working for Oakhurst Law Group since 2002. Tyler has served as a board member of the Nashville Film Festival since 2008 and was the President of the Nashville Film Festival in 2012 and 2013. She proudly volunteers for the Volunteer Lawyers & Professionals for the Arts and was the chairperson and co-founder of its annual fundraiser, Arts Immersion.

Tyler is from Atlanta, Georgia originally, and she graduated from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina (B.A. Politics, 2000), and from the Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia in 2004. She is licensed in New York, Georgia and Tennessee.
