Star Trek's Geordi La Forge piqued our imagination on what head mounted computing might be. That future is here today with new developments of in virtual retinal display technology - a unique system that beams high resolution images onto your retina. The result is high resolution imagery with no pixellation, sub-12 millisecond latency and high fill factors all packaged with high fidelity noise canceling audio.

Glyph technology can soon be combined with wireless capabilities, and a wide spectrum of onboard sensors that can provide physiological and positional data to the game developer or film maker.

This session's goal is to explore the edges of this new display and computing platform. The session is highly interactive and creative. We want to explore how fast we can bring Geordi La Forge into today's reality.
