With 120% of mobile penetration in the region we are on a tipping point. 700 million users are looking for new forms of entertainment, commerce and services in Latin America. What kind of business relationships are needed to interconnect all players? What role should the new entrepreneurs, investors and government take to gain full advantage of this new ecosystem? Naranya Ventures

Pablo Salazar Rojo is the Managing Director at Naranya Ventures; a new investing firm specialized in mobile technology for emerging markets. Naranya Ventures currently operates an accelerator program (Naranya Labs); an early stage fund(Naranya Innovation Fund 1), and several investments in other funds through the Naranya LP vehicle.
Previously, Pablo was a principal at IGNIA Partners, the world’s biggest impact investment fund. Before, he held different positions in companies like McKinsey and Company, British American Tobacco, and Cemex.
Pablo has been an entrepreneur at Latinstocks Mexico, Fresh House Deli, and Prepworks. He is a board member at Fagro, Ver de Verdad, Provive, and Doc Solutions; and an active member of Endeavor.
He holds and MBA from London Business School, and a BA and masters degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Pablo has studied innovation and entrepreneurship at MIT and Harvard Business School. He is a fellow at the Society of Kauffman Fellows program of the Center for Venture Education.
Pablo lives in Monterrey, Mexico with his wife and three kids: Juan Pablo, Fernando, and Eugenia.
