The internet of things growing by leaps and bounds. But moving ahead of the pack of "things" is the car. Along with integrated apps, vehicle data and the data cloud, this panel will discuss the direction of the digital automotive industry along with rise of the connected car. Joining us are representatives from Ford Motor Company's Product Development division to discuss how Ford is going further with integrated in-vehicle technology along with embracing the community of developers that are chomping at the bit to jump in.

Dave is active in the entrepreneurial community, serving as a Board Observer / Advisor to multiple venture-backed companies. He is a Managing Partner in the VC firm Vine St Ventures, serves on the Board of VCU Brandcenter in Richmond, VA, and is the co-founder of The Brandery – one of the top 10 startup accelerators in the country. Heidi Browning serves as Senior Vice President of Strategic Solutions for Pandora. Heidi brings more than two decades of experience to the team with a full-circle view of client, agency and media-owner perspectives. Heidi oversees the advertising strategic solutions department, which supports the sales organization through ad products, research and sales marketing. The team also has a special focus on programs that connect bands, brands and fans.

Prior to Pandora, Heidi served as EVP, Global Digital Officer at Universal McCann, where she launched Rally@UM, UM’s dedicated social media unit. She also served as the SVP of Client Solutions for Fox InteractiveMedia.

Scott has worked in the creative industry in Detroit for twenty years. He is a proud alumni of the College for Creative Studies, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. His passion lies in the automotive industry, where he has created advertising for all of the big three US auto manufacturers. In addition to his automotive work, he has created work for Comedy Central, Warner Brothers Pictures, Coleman Company, U.S. Navy, Bank of America, the College for Creative Studies and Warrior Lacrosse among others.

He is currently an Executive Creative Director at Team Detroit, Inc. and is responsible for the interactive work for Ford Motor Company in North America.

In addition to his advertising career, Scott is an avid fly fisherman and regularly tinkers with power tools at a local maker space. He sets type and prints on a letterpress in his basement, and served as a heavy artillery gunner in the United States Army Reserve during college.
