Bryce Maddock is the Founder and CEO of TaskUs, a leading provider of customer support and data services to large online companies. TaskUs is the secret weapon behind over 100 large Internet firms rapid ability to scale their labor force to meet customer demand. Maddock has grown TaskUs from a team of two founders working out of their garage to an international service provider with offices in Santa Monica, London and Manila and over 800 full time employees.

Maddock’s entrepreneurial streak began at age 19, when he and business partner Jaspar Weir opened Access – the first all age nightclub in Los Angeles. Every Monday night through out the summer the pair attracted 800 to 1,000 kids from around the Southland, for three years in a row.

At age 27 Maddock has graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York University, worked as an investment-banking analyst on Wall Street and boot strapped TaskUs to profitability. He has been called one of the Top Twenty Entrepreneurs in their Twenties by Los Angeles Business Journal and speaks frequently on the topic of student entrepreneurship at New York University and the University of Southern California. TaskUs was recently named “The Next Big Start Up” by the New York Stock Exchange, and Maddock had the honor of ringing the closing bell at the NYSE on May 30th, 2012. In 2013 TaskUs was named the Fastest Growing Outsourcing Company in America by Inc. magazines prestigious Inc. 500 list.

Maddock is the Chair of the TaskUs Foundation which raises money to send kids to great schools in the Philippines, and the co-chair of the Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards, an international competition of college student’s who are running revenue generating businesses while enrolled in school. He lives in Santa Monica, CA and enjoys running marathons, yoga and meditation.

Frank Gruber grew up in the Midwest heartland and is an entrepreneur, new media journalist and investor. He is the author of Startup Mixology: Tech Cocktail's Guide To Building, Growing and Celebrating Startup Success published by Wiley. He co-founded Tech Cocktail in 2006, which has grown into a hub for the creative class, offering tech startup focused news, events, and resources. Frank has built and launched products for the masses while at AOL, Tribune and Classified Ventures along with startup efforts like Thankfulfor, Splog Reporter and more. As a journalist his works have been featured in a number of top media publications like TechCrunch, Fortune, HuffPo, etc. He was named by Forbes as one of the most connected people in tech. Frank is also a Venture Partner with Crystal Tech Fund. His alma maters include Purdue and Northwestern respectively. While living the startup life, he also enjoys swimming, strumming his guitar and/or ukulele, warm weather and beaches and Chicago sports - especially the Chicago Cubs.
