Children Of The Night

676

Children Of The Night are the hotly tipped hip hop trio described by MTV as “possibly the best thing out of Queens, New York, since A Tribe Called Quest.” The three young members, hailing from Queens, NY are: Lansky Jones, Remy Banks, and Nasty Nigel. Each member has their own individual style, unique outlook yet their share something more than a home borough, they share a collected vision: to create great music. With co-signs from the likes of Roc Nation’s Young Guru, super producer Ski Beatz, the legendary Large Professor, Roc Marciano, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, and their Queens peer Action Bronson, it’s safe to say that the talented trio are taking New York hip hop by the reins and reclaiming the genre for a new generation, intent on carrying the baton for their borough all the way to the global stage.

Lansky Jones is the lyrical Chameleon. He is able to skill fully deliver on just about any beat, with no two verses sounding the same. His sparse yet original subject matter ranges from Japanese anime to fine dining.

Nasty Nigel is the self proclaimed “Young Spanish Burt Reynolds.” He is the eccentric, playful member of COTN. With an ever changing hairstyle that’s almost as infamous as his bi-lingual flow and tongue in-cheek references, he commands the stage like a rock star resurrected from the 60s. Oh, and not to mention the boy can sing too.

Remy Banks is the fashion-forward rebel known for his smooth one-liners, but don’t let that fool you – he also brings fast-paced, tongue twisting bars. A camo-clad globetrotter, he takes inspiration from the most unlikely of places and stories.
