How Composition Impacts Perception
Cameras are getting better and better. Auto exposure and auto focus systems are so sophisticated that you can be a photographer without knowing about either as long as you know about composition. A poorly-composed shot of fascinating subject can be a mundane photo, and well-composed shot of a mundane subject can be a great photo. Rather than wasting time memorizing a list of arbitrary composition rules or blindly trying one approach after another until something seems right, this talk will cover a new way to look at composition, using visual intensity. This intuitive way to work in the field and the digital darkroom focuses on how our brains perceive images to help you improve your photography.
