Steven Snyder Assoc Editor TIME Magazine

At TIME, I oversee daily digital editorial coverage, which includes the wrangling of more than 12 standalone verticals and the commissioning of hard news coverage and enterprise features. I also help to monitor our homepage, expand our social feeds and develop/run special projects. Earlier at TIME, I ran the TIME.com homepage, was the culture critic for the brand's first vertical (Techland) and helped to launch the site's viral news blog NewsFeed. Prior to TIME-LIFE, I was an arts critic (specializing in film and theater criticism) and features reporter (for Newsday and the Star-Ledger). And once upon a time, I worked with NBC in bringing the Olympics online. I continue to pen arts and technology criticism, am obsessed with covering the ways in which technology and social media are redefining the production/distribution of mainstream entertainment, and just for fun I continue to serve as artistic director for a Minneapolis-based film festival. If you want to talk Aronofsky or Soderbergh, I'm your guy.

I'm already looking forward to a week of food trucks and margaritas.
