Rawn Shah Social Business Strategist IBM

I practice, teach and write about enterprise collaboration, social CRM, social HR, online community management, and swordfighting, mostly separately. I'm buzzing away on blogs.Forbes.com/rawnshah on on how social is reshaping organizations, how and why we work.

I have written over 500 articles for many technical and business publications and helped to launch magazines such as JavaWorld, Network Computing World, Windows TechEdge. I've also written 7 books and edited others, the last being "Social Networking for Business" (Wharton School Publishing/Pearson, 2010), and "SOA Compass" (IBM Press/Pearson, 2006 in 6 languages).

At IBM I was Program Manager for the developerWorks Community intersecting the development, community management and content teams to support 7M+ members. I was with "BlueIQ", the IBM Social Business Adoption team driving adoption practices, management and measurement across our global community (400K IBMers worldwide).

These days I'm either mistaken for Tiger Woods, working on my next book, or being assaulted by high schooler samurais-in-training.

Last book read: Radical Transparency by Don Tapscott.
Last book written: Social Networking for Business (Wharton/Pearson, 2010).
Last film credit: "The Sword Guy" (2011)
Last Interview: Enterprise2.0 Expert Talk (Nov 2013)
Last lecture: Heinz College, Carnegie-Mellon Univ (Feb 2013)
