Dave Cirilli is the Senior Director of Communications for Rally.org, an online storytelling platform designed to empower technical and non-technical users to fundraise and build awareness on a large scale for causes that matter. To date, Rally.org has enabled over 24,000 individuals and organizations to share and broadcast their passions, provide solutions to problems, leverage social networks, and mobilize communities. At Rally.org, Dave is responsible for building larger company awareness, creating media campaigns for many of Rally’s user causes, and driving business development initiatives.

Prior to Rally.org, Dave worked as a team leader and media strategist at Sunshine Sachs, where he developed and executed media strategies for startups, technology platforms, product launches and entrepreneurs.

Previously, Dave was a partner at the public relations agency, Giant Noise, and worked as publicity manager for Rolling Stone and Men’s Journal magazines. Dave started his career in music publicity, working at the firm Big Hassle Media. He lives in Brooklyn fe and rescue pit bull, Ryer.
