How to Crowdsource Your Mental Health for Free
Last year there were more than 36,000 suicides in the U.S., and 90% of them had a diagnosable and treatable psychiatric disorder at the time of their death. The proposed ObamaCare health plan supports increased mental illness benefits, but even those aren't enough to combat the rising costs and challenge with getting adequate mental health care treatment.
This session will show you how to use the free, online applications that are crowdsourcing mental health topics and treatments from a larger population sample than you or your doctor would normally have access to. You'll learn how to be an active Participant in your mental health care, instead of just the patient, to help reduce your treatment costs, decrease the length of treatment, and enable you to live a healthy and balanced life. You'll also learn how to protect your privacy and protect your mental health records and personal information from being revealed on the internet, keeping them safe from your employer.
