For most people, sleep comes naturally, but for others, the night turns into an ongoing struggle to drift off into oblivion. This film explores what it’s like to be awake involuntarily and the feelings that accompany the passing of sleepless time.

Director Bio
Anna Frances Ewert was born in 1986 in Germany and was raised by German/Irish parents. From 2007 to 2010 she studied at the Edinburgh College of Art with focus on making documentaries. Since October 2011 she has been studying at the University of TV and Film in Munich where she continues to specialize in documentary filmmaking.
