"#PostModem" is a comedic satirical sci-fi pop-musical based on the theories of Ray Kurzweil and other futurists. It's the story of two Miami girls and how they deal with the technological singularity, as told through a series of cinematic tweets.

Mayer\Leyva together have created video works that have shown at Guggenheim Museums, garnered millions of online views, and screened at Sundance and over two dozen other festivals. They were recently named two of the "25 New Faces of Independent Film" by Filmmaker Magazine. They help run the Borscht Film Festival in Miami.
